My name is Lin Bangfeng, I am 41 years old this year, and I am from Anhui. Twenty years ago, after graduating from the teacher college, I was assigned to teach mathematics at a junior high school in my hometown. Lying in a hospital bed, I closed my eyes tightly and continued to feign a coma. The principal and several directors came, very nervous. That incident was a turning point in my career, a turning point in my life
After the principal was gone, I slowly opened my eyes. I laughed in my heart, proud of my wit. The principal slapped me in public, and I was unscathed, but he was so fierce that he lost face in front of everyone, and he must have had some scruples about me.
After a week of recuperation in the hospital, I went back to school. The principal and several directors came to see me in the office, asking long and short questions, saying that I had misunderstood the principal, but in fact, I had been rated as an advanced teacher, which was county-level, which was more valuable than the school level, and was a necessary condition for evaluating the intermediate title. Since then, my life has taken a big turn, and the attitude of the people around me is completely different from before.
My colleagues were very kind when they saw me. After that incident, my colleagues were very polite to me, they liked to chat with me, and I was invited to participate in leisure activities, and all my colleagues respected me.
The leaders of the school are very concerned about me. When the leaders used to meet me on campus, they all had a cold face, and they all looked high, probably because I came from the countryside and I didn't look amazing, they seemed to look down on me. Since then, their attitude towards me has taken a 180-degree turn, and when they meet occasionally, they will take the initiative to greet me, and the tone of their voice is appreciative and encouraging.
The principal and I were relieved of our past suspicions and gave me the credit I deserved. To my surprise, two days after returning to school, the principal took the initiative to invite me to the office for tea and chat. He apologized for his radical behavior that day, and said that he would be fair and impartial in the evaluation in the future, and would not favor anyone. In fact, the principal is a very good person, he did what he said, never snubbed me in his future work, and gave me the honor I deserved.
Two years later, I was successfully awarded the title of "Secondary 1" and was promoted to the head of the Mathematics Department. The principal was transferred and went to work as the principal of another larger school. I learned from my colleagues that Fei Fei was a distant relative of the principal, and it was no wonder that the principal favored her in the evaluation, for reasons not as I had imagined.
