The new green city is full of spring. On the morning of April 20, the opening ceremony of the 13th National Fitness Games and the "Xinlu Cup" mini-marathon in Shen County started passionately in Yanta Square. More than 3,000 participants gathered on the runway of Shen County, measuring the beauty of Shen County and releasing vitality with their footsteps.
Before the opening ceremony, gong and drum performances, aerobics, intangible cultural heritage performances and other programs were staged one after another, and the literature and art lovers from the county dedicated a wonderful cultural performance to cheer for the contestants, fully demonstrating the spirit of the whole people's high-spirited and enterprising, and also creating a strong atmosphere for the development of the county's national fitness games.
The competition kicked off with the solemn national anthem, and all the staff sang the national anthem together, and the atmosphere was solemn, grand and warm. With the sound of the order, the contestants set off from Yanta Square, fought bravely in the track, with full enthusiasm and high morale, took vigorous steps, chased the wind all the way, swayed the passion and sweat of hard work and self-transcendence, enjoyed the joy and freedom brought by sports, and enjoyed the beauty of Shen County's natural ecology, urban and rural livability, and water charm and humanities. The audience also cheered at different locations, pushing the atmosphere of the game to a climax.
It is understood that the Games will start in April and end in October, with a total of 9 competitions. The mini-marathon has three events: 7 kilometers for men and women, 3 kilometers for men and women, and 3 kilometers for parents and children, with the starting and ending points at Yanta Square. Honorary trophies will be awarded to the outstanding runners in the 7-kilometer race. All finishers will be awarded certificates and 100 lucky prizes will be awarded.
A marathon warms a city. With sweat and perseverance, all the participants conveyed to us the marathon spirit of perseverance and never giving up, which stimulated the enthusiasm and vitality of the people of the county and injected new impetus into promoting high-quality development. The careful preparation of the organizers, the responsibilities of the co-organizers, the selfless dedication of the volunteers, the strong support of caring enterprises, the cheering and encouragement of the spectators, the close cooperation of public security officers, medical personnel, volunteers, etc., a group of people silently escorted and helped the event to become a beautiful scenery in Shen County!
The successful holding of this event is a new starting point for Shen County to use the competition as a medium, which not only promotes the coordinated development of mass sports, competitive sports, sports industry and sports culture in Shen County, but also injects new vitality into the construction of a more dynamic and promising Shen County.
