However, this method is not particularly reliable after all, after all, even Africa, not all blacks, there are also countries dominated by yellow people, and even these yellow people are still native.
Therefore, if these things are culture and faces, there is actually a high probability that the same situation will occur because of the similar living environment.
Therefore, this method is naturally not very reliable, but with the development of science and technology, especially the development of gene technology, this kind of work of tracing ancestors can be carried out.
However, science does not always lead to complete conclusions, after all, science is also constantly advancing, and recently Japanese scientists have discovered that the ancestors of the Japanese may be divided into three major systems, which is very different from the previous conclusions.

In the eyes of most Chinese, the ancestors of the Japanese are Chinese, which is certainly not because we want to be the ancestors of the Japanese, but because of a widely circulated allusion.
This allusion is the story of Xu Fu Dongdu, and this story is not only known to Chinese, but also to the Japanese.
We all know that after Qin Shi Huang unified the world, his biggest dream was to live forever, so that he could sit on the world forever and be his own first emperor.
And in order to achieve this goal, Qin Shi Huang also specially found some practitioners who claimed to be able to refine the elixir of life, among which Xu Fu was the most famous.
In order to be able to refine the elixir of life, Qin Shi Huang can be said to have done his best, as long as Xu Fu said that he needed it, Qin Shi Huang would agree.
Of course, we all know now that there is no such thing as a longevity elixir in the world, so it is impossible for Xu Fu to refine the elixir of life.
So after refining medicine for a few years, Qin Shi Huang began to suspect Xu Fu, and Xu Fu was also very aware of this, so he tried to find a way back for himself.
After that, he claimed that there were three immortal mountains in the open sea, namely Penglai, Fangzhang, and Dongying, and he needed some boys and girls to go to the immortal mountains to ask for elixir.
And Japan also had another name in ancient times, which was called Toei, so many people say that the Toei where Xu Fu went was actually Japan, and Xu Fu himself was the first emperor of Toei, Emperor Jimmu.
This is also recorded in the Japanese history book "Nihon Shoki", and until now, there are still many people who believe that the origin of the Japanese is Xu Fuku, and even Japan is still erecting statues and temples for Xu Fuku.

In 2021, a Japanese scholar conducted a study based on the DNA of Japanese people and published an academic paper to tell the origin of Japan through genes.
In this study, regardless of whether the incident of Xu Fudongdu is true or not, Japan itself has indigenous people, and it is not all a country formed by outsiders.
These people are called Jomon people, and they have a short average height, prominent facial features, a relatively dark complexion, thick lips, and a very dense beard.
In this way, these Jomon people look very similar to the wild people, and the whole gives people a rather rough feeling, and they are the indigenous people of Japan.
Of course, these so-called aborigines did not evolve from monkeys to humans in Japan itself, and they also have origins, just as humans all over the world came from Africa.
According to the speculation of Japanese scholars, these Jomon people lived in a certain area of Southeast Asia before they came to Japan, and it is likely that they were on the Indochina Peninsula, because this gene is more abundant in Okinawa, so they are called Jomon people.
Then there was the foreign race for Japan, which came to Japan from other places around the third century AD.
Because they are immigrants, these people are called Yayoi people, and compared with the Jomon people, the height of the Yayoi people is relatively high, the average male is about 1.7 meters, and the female is also 1.6 meters, which is ten centimeters taller than the Jomon people, and their faces are more delicate in comparison.
According to modern ethnographic theory, these people should have lived at a higher latitude than the Jomon people, but not too high, which is why they have such delicate faces.
At the same time, their civilization is relatively advanced, after all, they are taller, which is obviously caused by the richer food, so there are also suspicions that these people are from China.
In addition, after the Yayoi people came to Japan, Japan's rice cultivation technology flourished, and they gradually assimilated the Jomon people to a certain extent by relying on more advanced civilizations.
Later, according to genetics, 70% of the genes of today's Japanese people come from the Yayoi people, while the Jomon people have only 30%, which can also prove that the Yayoi people are more advanced.
Judging from various characteristics, the characteristics of this group of people are very similar to the boys and girls in Xu Fu's fleet in the story of Xu Fu's Dongdu, so even many Japanese scholars believe that Yayoi is actually the Chinese brought by Xu Fu.
As for the origin of the Jomon people, there are various theories, one is that they came to live in Japan from the Asian continent about 38,000 to 18,000 years ago, so the specific origin is basically unknown, but it is basically certain that they also came from the Asian continent, not from a certain island.

Since then, this has basically become a consensus on the origin of the Japanese, and many people believe that this is the main source of the Japanese, except for the large number of mixed-race children in Japan after modern times.
But on April 17, Japan's RIKEN released its latest research results, saying that after studying the genes of 3,200 modern Japanese, the Japanese have an additional ancestor.
These 3,000 people live in areas that are basically all over Japan, and at the same time, there are no genes mixed with other countries, so they can be regarded as relatively pure Japanese.
After research, it was found that the ancestors of these people were mainly divided into three major systems, the first is the Jomon line, which has more relations in Okinawa, the Kansai system, which has more relations with Japan, and the "Tohoku system", which has more relations with Japan.
Among them, I don't need to say much about the Jomon system, but we have already explained it in general terms, but the main ones are the Kansai system and the Tohoku system, which are different from the previous so-called "Yayoi people".
The Kansai people are similar to the Yayoi people, and they all have a great relationship with China, and they are even considered to be people who came to live in Japan from China.
However, unlike the Yayoi people, the Yayoi people do not have an exact origin, but today's Kansai system is genetically very similar to the Han people in the Yellow River valley on the mainland.
In other words, the ancestors of the Japanese may indeed be Chinese, but I don't know when these people passed, could it be the product of the so-called Xu Fu Dongdu?
The last one is the Tohoku lineage, which can be said to be the most complex, although there are many of them in the Tohoku region of Japan, but it is very complex.
Because this gene seems to be a hybrid gene, mixed with so many different genes, it is a complete hodgepodge, so it is newly divided into a series.
Based on the topography of East Asia as a whole, the reason why the genetic makeup of these people is relatively complex and the origin is not even explained is likely to be related to humans on the Korean Peninsula or other islands.
It is very likely that these people came to Japan from the Korean Peninsula and merged with the local people, and the reason why they did not know the origin is that they may have disappeared into the long river of history.
