  At the Beijing talks on April 17, Wang Yi said that after more than 30 years of development, China-Sri Lanka relations have entered a stage of stability and maturity, and although the two countries have different social systems and cultural backgrounds, they understand each other, respect and appreciate each other, and the two peoples have friendly feelings. China appreciates the Sri Lankan government's understanding and support for China's core interests and its firm adherence to the one-China principle. China supports Slovenia's national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, and respects Slovenia's development path suited to its national conditions. The Slovenian Tourism Board will hold the 2024 Tourism Promotion Conference in Beijing and Shanghai

  Minister Fayong was accompanied by an economic and trade delegation of more than 60 Slovenian business representatives and members of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Slovenia sees potential for further cooperation in the fields of tourism, health care, information technology, logistics, energy, automotive, engineering, consulting, wine and consumer goods.

  Ms. Saša Verovšek Musič, Senior Manager of the Slovenian Tourism Board, Ms. Ana Zupan, Project Manager, and representatives of several Slovenian tourism companies and destinations also accompanied the delegation.
