In order to give full play to the role of warning and education, and to enhance the compliance awareness of business entities, a number of typical cases of illegal advertisements of "miracle doctors" and "miracle medicines" are hereby selected to be exposed.

1. Hong Kong Baihong Co., Ltd. advertising illegal case

The Market Supervision Bureau of Haidian District, Beijing Municipality investigated and found that the ordinary food advertisement published by Hong Kong Baihong Co., Ltd. through the Internet contained the content that "health food is not a drug and cannot replace medicine to treat diseases", leading consumers to mistakenly believe that the ordinary food is a health food.

2. Cases of illegal advertising by Shanghai Zhimei Yan and Medical Beauty Clinic Co., Ltd

The investigation by the Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation found that in the process of using live broadcast marketing to promote medical aesthetic services such as Superphoton and Thermage, the anchor recommended and certified the medical aesthetic services in his personal image and name through experience sharing, and made statements that included content such as efficacy and safety assurance.
