Recently, some villagers in Dawan Town, Yingde City, Guangdong Province, reported that the Dawan Town Government did not allow the masses to enter the stadium on the grounds that they built it.
The villagers also said that they had reported the problem to the mayor's mailbox of Yingde City before, but the reply they received was that "Dawan Stadium is one of the 'five small places' for cadres and workers, and outsiders are prohibited from entering it for the sake of safety and standardized management."
The villagers obviously did not agree with this reply. The villagers said that although they did not know what the "five small places" were, (the gymnasium) was originally for the people, and they could not figure it out if it belonged to the "five small places".
Regarding this matter, the reporter interviewed the Yingde Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports: "The town government has built such a big gymnasium for their own use?" The staff replied: "The unit is rich, what can you do?"
When the reporter asked how to meet the sports needs of the local people, the staff of the Yingde Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports said that there was "a lack of construction funds".
On the Guangdong Minsheng Hotline program, the host openly asked the responsible persons of the relevant units: Why did Dawan Town build this internal gymnasium first? Is it because the public officials of Dawan Town work harder and lack more exercise than the masses?
Chen Ji, deputy director of the Qingyuan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, responded: "It is obviously wrong for the Dawan town government to not allow the masses to enter and enjoy sports facilities in the town government on the grounds that the stadium was built by them. In this way, there is also some thinking of private power, so the change of this concept must also be supervised and educated. Next, we will take action immediately, immediately go to rectification, and I will lead the team to supervise on the spot. The government-invested facilities should be open to the masses free of charge, and the invisible and tangible shackles should be completely removed. ”

As everyone knows, the campus sports facilities, which occupy as much as 60 percent of the public sports facilities, have not yet been fully opened to the public. The reasons are also similar to those of the Xihang Stadium, mainly because there are shortcomings in maintenance, maintenance, management, etc., and the campus believes that it does not have enough resources to promote this project to benefit the people.
Operators of public gymnasiums or sports facilities do have some difficulties.
