On the evening of April 19, Aston Martin officially announced that its new Aston Martin Vantage was launched in China, with an official guide price of 2.3998 million yuan. As a facelifted model, the shape of the new car has been significantly adjusted, and the power has also been upgraded.
In terms of appearance, the front face of the new car adopts a similar large-mouth grille design as the new DB12, and the temporal part is decorated with a banner structure, which has a strong visual impact and enhances the layering of the front of the car. The front hatch is designed with a number of raised rib lines, which has a strong sense of muscle.
The grille is equipped with large, vertically arranged air deflavers on both sides of the grille to improve aerodynamics, while the front lip is also exaggerated to accentuate the sporty look.
In terms of side styling, the roof adopts a double-door fastback shape, which looks very smooth, the waistline adopts a through-type design, which embellishes the layering of the side of the body, the door handle adopts a pop-up design, which can play a role in reducing wind resistance, and the wheels adopt a multi-spoke blackened shape, which looks very atmospheric.
In terms of tail styling, the top of the trunk is designed with a relatively large ducktail, and the blackened tail light cluster adopts a through-type design, which effectively stretches the horizontal visual width of the rear of the car; the inverted trapezoidal license plate frame area adopts a concave design, which embellishes the three-dimensional sense of the rear; and the lower surround part is equipped with a very exaggerated diffuser to further enhance the sporty atmosphere.
In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4495/2124/1275mm, and the wheelbase is 2795mm, which is a relatively compact figure.
Inside, the overall layout is similar to that of the DB12, with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a full LCD instrument cluster, an embedded center display, and an electronic gear knob.
In terms of equipment, the new car offers panoramic view, active braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic parking, keyless entry, one-button start, matrix automatic LED headlights, automatic wipers, steering wheel shifting, electric seat adjustment/heating, and automatic air conditioning.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 4.0T V8 dual-supercharged engine with a maximum power of 665 horsepower and a peak torque of 800N·m, matched with an 8AT gearbox, and adopts a rear-wheel drive layout, with a 000 acceleration time of 3.5 seconds.
