At Milan Design Week 2024, Hermès unveils a new home collection that interprets the heritage of classic pieces. The ingenious collocation transcends the boundaries of time, highlighting the timeless charm of Hermès creations that transcend time, space and trends. The new Diapason d'Hermès lounge chair is crafted from leather and hammered aluminium with a modernist heritage that combines regular design with contrasting materials. The seat and backrest are made of two pieces of leather and are fixed to a hammered aluminium bracket for a bold yet elegant shape. Another creation, the DERBY woven basket, combines saddle elements with leather craftsmanship for the first time, exploring the infinite possibilities of structure, scale, colour and geometry.

FENDI Casa unveils a new chapter that continues to advance the dialogue between design, the choice of raw materials and the craftsmanship of the fabrication. In addition, new structural elements have been added to show a strange and uninhibited ingenuity. The new FENDI F-Affair modular sofa, designed by Studio Controvento, transforms the FF logo into a three-dimensional element, like a set of precisely fitted building blocks. On the occasion of Milan Design Week, Baxter's century-old house on the shores of Lake Como presents a house designed for design connoisseurs. The new collection, designed by designer Hannes Peer, is entirely immersed in warm tones of crimson and large yellow. The base of the Loom round table is composed of an architectural-like cascading structure, combining art and practicality. The Aura modular sofa seat is made up of a glossy lacquered or aluminium base and a generous seat cushion that is simple and inviting.

This year, B&B Italia has adopted the theme of "home", implementing the overall design concept and extending the single boundary of the product. Inspired by sea eagles, the small armchair Narinari is made from raw cut felt, with meticulous attention to detail and finishing, as continuous and fluid as origami, with two chasing and circling curved surfaces that create a soft but decisive sense of volume. The fusion of organic and digital elements reflects the strong contradictions of the contemporary environment, where classic and futuristic collide, making Narinari unique and recognizable in the B&B Italia collection.

Inspired by the original stones in nature that have gone through the ages, the Chio sofa is stacked with full and smooth mound-shaped three-dimensional blocks to express the intention of "ancient future". "Fluidity" is the key word of Qiu, and the dynamics and affinity of its posture superimposed shape the infinite field in a shapely. The conception is based on Ma Yansong's concern for architecture, "architecture is alive and therefore full of energy: fluid, dynamic and uncertain". The mound is not a shape, not an object, but a space with life, but also a carrier of spiritual life.

New to the brand, young Taiwanese designer Hsiang Han Hsu embodies all the oriental poetry in this X Table System collection. The tops of these tables are made of black high-pressure laminate, inspired by geometries found in nature, guaranteeing excellent strength and stability. The design of the X Table System makes full use of the modular concept: the base is assembled from fiberglass and nylon components, and new materials are used together with recycled materials, reducing production costs and enhancing material sustainability.
