After consultation with the donors, the community staff used some of the donated materials to comfort the needy, and the other part was forwarded to the residents, friends, etc., so that this warmth could cover more people in need, and a total of 5 families received assistance.
During the distribution of materials, the staff found that there were disabled people in a family that applied for the application, and the social workers and grid workers immediately visited and learned that the family had a new family in the Langkou community, and the wife was disabled and the family still had debts. The community staff then learned more about her physical condition and family situation, instructed her to take care of her health, and contacted the community health care on the spot to provide home rehabilitation guidance for the family and sign a family doctor, informing her that if she has difficulties or needs, she can report to the community in time, and the community will actively contact her with help resources to help alleviate the family's predicament.
In recent years, Langkou Community, Dalang Street, Longhua District, Shenzhen, has always implemented the policy of serving the people, continued to carry out assistance work for groups in difficulty, implemented fixed-frame services, served the "people's livelihood" with "small incisions", fully mobilized the community Youth League Committee, women's federation, volunteers, etc., efficiently collected information, accurately formulated assistance strategies, and enhanced the sense of belonging and happiness of vulnerable groups in the jurisdiction.
Since the beginning of this year, the Langkou community has fully linked community resources and continuously improved its assistance. In order to further strengthen the effect of assistance, the Langkou community has established assistance files, implemented "paired assistance", and boosted precise assistance. Xiao Li is a diligent girl, although she has cerebral palsy caused by high fever when she was a child, resulting in limited mobility, she has not given up her dedication to learning, and always insists on reading and reading to continuously improve herself. Last year, after learning about her situation, the Langkou community registered her in the register, actively linked her to acupuncture rehabilitation, assistance funds and other resources, and visited her many times. Recently, the Love Hospital in the jurisdiction heard about this and donated a batch of rehabilitation equipment to Xiao Li's family. Community volunteers delivered the utensils to Xiao Li's home and explained how to use them. Xiao Li's mother sighed: "The community has not only given us a lot of help, but also brought us a lot of confidence, I am really grateful!"
