The so-called monitoring of meteorological data may only be a symptom, because a large number of monitoring equipment is distributed in military, military, and agricultural planting areas, and the transmission of these "meteorological data" outside the country is not a good thing, and it will really have an impact on national security.
What's even more worrying is that such things are still happening, even every day.
On April 29, 2023, the Ministry of Public Security organized the police in Shanghai and Jiangsu to carry out a centralized network collection operation at the same time, and arrested 14 members involved in the case.
What did these 14 members do? Stealing Huawei chips.
Among these 14 people, one named Zhang Kun is Huawei's top 21-level technical director, with more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, serving as a technical expert in many companies, and presiding over the research and development of many chips.
The talent mentioned here refers to his technical attainments, not his character.
In March 2021, when Huawei was suppressed and restricted, Zhang Kun chose to resign. Later, he founded Zunpai Communications, a company whose business includes chip design, manufacturing, sales, semiconductor equipment, and semiconductor device sales.
After the establishment of the company, Zhang Kun found that chip design was too difficult, too much money and manpower were invested, and if he had to rely on his own research and development, he would be able to create chips in the Year of the Monkey, so he began to look for shortcuts.
He took advantage of his position and promised huge profits and company equity to induce Huawei HiSilicon employees to steal chip technology.

At the time, Huawei was grappling with U.S. restrictions and was unaware of these problems.
