On the morning of April 19, 2024, a total of 23 volunteers from Dongwang Dongwang, a service team of Jinghong Area in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, wearing little red riding hoods, red vests, brooms, dustpans, and garbage bags, braved the hot weather to come to Jinghong Pharmaceutical Factory in Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province to clean up the environmental sanitation of the factory and accommodation area.
Since the accommodation area of the pharmaceutical factory is an old community, most of the residents are elderly, so volunteers are needed to help clean it. As soon as they arrived at their destination, garbage and fallen leaves could be seen everywhere, and they cooperated tacitly, and began to get busy without saying anything, cleaning up the factory area. They bent down to pick up and remove the white garbage in the green belt, pulled out weeds, cleaned up the fallen leaves, wine bottles and debris, glass and other hazardous garbage under the trees for all-round cleaning and sorting, and transported the cleaned garbage to the designated place again and again. After more than 2 hours of serious fighting, they soon gave the factory a fresh and clean environment, they used practical actions and responsibilities to beautify the environment, but also purified the hearts of the public, so that more people to protect their homes together, to create a harmonious society to contribute.
The volunteer action has played an exemplary role, serving the people wholeheartedly and consistently, perseveringly, contributing to the practice of the core values of socialism, and winning unanimous praise from community leaders.
