Shi Lei is a person engaged in the production of Shu embroidery intangible cultural heritage enterprise in charge, in 2010 by chance, the company hired the first disabled employee, in the process of work, Shi Lei was the disabled staff of the pursuit of embroidery perfection and the continuous challenge of their own skills moved, so more and more disabled employees began to shine here.

On April 19, Chongqing's 2024 Employment Policy Training Course for Enterprises Placing Disabled Persons in Employment opened, and as a person in charge of an enterprise with 27% of employees with disabilities, Shi Lei shared her beginning of actively recruiting people with disabilities as employees. Up to now, there are 900,000 people with disabilities in Chongqing, of which 410,000 are of working age, with an employment rate of 55%. The focus of this training course is how to improve the understanding of the employability of the disabled group by the employers who intend to hire the disabled, strengthen the understanding and application of the policies to promote the employment of the disabled, master the psychological characteristics of the disabled and the communication skills with the disabled employees, and further develop the employment positions suitable for the disabled.

On the same day, in order to conscientiously implement the requirements of the cooperation between the eastern and western regions of Shandong and Chongqing for the disabled and the cooperation of the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle for the disabled, many heads of enterprises in Sichuan and Shandong also participated, and Zheng Qiyong was one of them. As an organization in Sichuan that specializes in recommending jobs for people with disabilities, Zheng Qiyong's company not only hires employees with disabilities, but also has a job development center for people with disabilities within the company to recommend employees with disabilities for different industries and enterprises.

"The most urgent jobs in society are the severely physically disabled and the mentally handicapped, and for this part of the group, we will recommend them to do live broadcasts, write simple copywriting, or engage in some simple recruitment work in our company. Zheng Qiyong said that in the use and management of disabled employees, different enterprises are adapted to local conditions, taking themselves as an example, although all employees are treated equally, but in terms of management and assessment will still be slightly adjusted according to the degree of disability of employees.

Shi Lei's Shu embroidery production company is more different, because there are more deaf and dumb employees in the company, and most of them are young girls with low education level, so as soon as they enter the company, they will arrange experienced masters over 50 years old to teach one-on-one, and they can work independently in two months at the earliest. At the same time, the company established contact with the Chongqing Special Education Center last year, through the training of special school teachers to teach Shu embroidery skills, the children of the special education center after graduation, if they are willing, they can come directly to the enterprise to work.

In the future, there will be more employers who accept and train people with disabilities, and send a spark of warmth to the disabled groups in Shancheng with the momentum of the prairie fire.
