On April 19, 2024, in order to enhance the safety awareness of the disabled and comprehensively improve the self-protection ability of the majority of the disabled, recently, the Taoyuan Street Disabled Persons' Federation in Nanshan District, Shenzhen launched an emergency theme education activity for the disabled at the Fuguang Community Party and Mass Service Center. The purpose of this activity is to help people with disabilities master emergency self-rescue and mutual rescue skills through professional guidance and interactive experience, so as to ensure that they can respond calmly in the face of emergencies and ensure their life safety.
On the day of the event, the atmosphere was warm and orderly. Through vivid explanations and practical demonstrations, professional emergency rescue personnel teach the disabled people self-rescue and mutual rescue skills to deal with fires, earthquakes and other common emergencies. These skills include not only basic skills such as how to properly use fire extinguishing equipment and how to quickly find a safe shelter, but also provide practical solutions to the special problems that people with disabilities may face, such as mobility problems and communication barriers.
