The adjustment of the M503 route and its connection line is conducive to meeting the development needs of air transport in the Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao and the southeast coastal areas, ensuring flight safety and improving the normality of flights.

In addition, the Taiwan authorities also retaliated against the mainland before the Spring Festival, announcing a ban on Taiwan tour groups going to the mainland.

Regarding the mainland's launch of Taiwan-related routes, Shen Boyang, a representative of the Democratic Progressive Party, claimed that this is a "legal war" by the mainland, and that the launch of the route can make it "easier for civilian aircraft to harass Taiwan." What the Taiwan authorities lack most now is countermeasures, otherwise they will only make the mainland "press on step by step."

As a matter of fact, the mainland has shown enough goodwill toward Taiwan, but the DPP authorities have never grasped it. Instead of reflecting on the root causes of the deterioration of cross-strait relations, the DPP is considering the use of countermeasures; it seems that after Lai Ching-te comes to power, the DPP authorities' policy toward the mainland will not change much, and the mainland must take more measures to gradually withdraw its rights.
