On September 26, 1981, Yao Beina was born in Wuhan, her father Yao Feng is a composer and vocal educator, and her mother Li Xinmin is an excellent vocal actor.

On January 15, 2015, Yao Beina, who had been in the ICU for 5 days, left this world at the age of 34.
When she was dying, Yao Beina used her last strength to say to her father:
"We will be father and daughter in the next life......"
After Yao Beina's death, her solo albums were released one after another: "Forever" was released in April, and "Born to Be Proud" came out in September.
Yao's father and mother took out their daughter's relics for charity sale, and the proceeds from the auction were eventually donated to the distant Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County to establish the "Bena Music Classroom" and bring Bena's favorite music to children from afar.
In 2019, they spent another 3 million yuan to set up the "Yao Beina Music Award" at the Wuhan Conservatory of Music to encourage and support those outstanding music students.
