Nowadays, people have a rich material life, and it is very normal for them to have nothing to do with raising more meat or having a pet! Take the meat friends I know, some of them not only have a lot of meat, but also have dogs, cats, and salamanders and other pets. And in addition to raising a lot of meat, I actually have a Brazilian tortoise. However, I was "forced to operate" because it was my son's pet, and I had to take care of his schooling.

Is it better to keep a succulent or a pet?
I have been raising succulents for more than 10 years, to be honest they have extremely high requirements for climatic conditions and conservation environment, if we are in an area where the winter is warm and the summer is cool and the sunshine is sufficient, the succulents are really easy to raise, and the maintenance process is not too worrying. On the other hand, if it is too hot in summer or too cold in winter, or if the light time of the maintenance environment is less than 5 hours, then the meat is not very easy to raise. Even if we try our best to feed them, we may be empty, or they may be green all year round.

As for pets, except for some very special species, most of them do not have high requirements for climatic conditions and maintenance environment, especially common cats, dogs and aquatic animals, as long as we humans can survive, they can live well. For example, my Brazilian tortoise is usually fed twice a week and changed twice, but in winter it is even easier because it will remain dormant until early spring, so you only need to change the water once in a while.

Of course, if I were to choose between raising more succulents or pets again, I would still choose succulents without hesitation! As for the following four reasons:
First, raising more meat can be "out of the pit" at any time. In the past 10 years that I have raised more meat, meat friends who have "come out of the pit" abound, and the reasons are also different, but no matter what the reason is, as long as we make up our minds, we can "get out of the pit" at any time. But pets are different, we can't just throw them away, if we can't find someone to take over, we can only keep them forever.

The second is to raise more succulents and change varieties at any time. Let's raise more succulents, for the varieties that are not easy to raise or not easy to get out of the state, you can change them at any time, like I have raised succulents for so long, and the varieties that have been replaced have already broken hundred. But what can we do with pets? Obviously not, unless they are "dead", or someone is willing to be a "pick-up man", we can't just throw them away, right?

The third is that succulent diseases are better to deal with. Whether it's a lot of meat or a pet, it's inevitable that they will get sick. It's just that the pets we have are all animals, and they are not so easy to get sick compared to succulents. However, some simple diseases can be cured by spraying, and more serious ones can be cut off and re-cuttings. As for pets getting sick, it's not so easy to deal with - we need to take it to the pet hospital when the situation is serious, anyway, we can't choose to leave it alone or throw it away like meaty.

Fourth, it doesn't take too much effort to raise more meat. Although there are a lot of things to raise more meat, we can choose to raise some varieties that are particularly solid and easy to raise, as long as the maintenance conditions are not very poor, they can also live and color out of the state. And we have a lot of things to do every day to raise pets, such as feeding, shoveling feces and walking with us, etc., which is obviously more energy-consuming than raising more meat, so I still choose to continue to raise my meat.
