On the eve of the 2024 F1 Chinese Grand Prix, Saudi Aramco has partnered with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Team to launch the "Make A Mark" campaign in Shanghai.
The "Make A Mark" campaign provided a full-day immersive experience for 20 Chinese students. Professionals from both sides collaborate to deliver presentations, live demonstrations and interactive discussions on the topics of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education, including F1 races, aerodynamic design, material innovation and future-oriented innovation in low-carbon fuel technology, with the aim of engaging and inspiring more young people from around the world to become the next generation of technologists, engineers and drivers.
Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Driver Ambassador Jessica Hawkins and Team Ambassador Pedro Martínez de la Rosa shared their go-kart driving skills at the event, encouraging a new generation of young people to actively participate in motorsport and the innovation of science and technology.
Saudi Aramco and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Team have partnered to launch the Make A Mark initiative in China, with the aim of attracting more young people to the initiative, promoting the diversity of motorsport, and unleashing the potential for innovation in sustainable development and a low-carbon future.
