On the afternoon of April 18, the fourth general meeting of Liancheng County Hakka Food Association was held. Xie Xiaojian, vice president of Fujian Provincial Old Area Construction Promotion Association and former secretary of Liancheng County Party Committee, Kong Xiangwei, president of Longyan Catering and Cooking Association, and the main person in charge of the County Civil Affairs Bureau attended the meeting.

The conference listened to the 2023 work report, 2023 financial report, and 2024 work plan, elected a new board of directors and board of supervisors, and Yu Shenghui was elected as the new president.

In the past year, the association has carried out the "10,000 chefs" training project, and has successively held seven sessions of training for more than 420 trainees, providing talent guarantee for the development and growth of the Hakka food industry in Liancheng; successfully held the 6th National Strait Hakka Cooking Competition and the 8th China Guanzhishan Hakka Food and Snack Culture Festival to further enhance the popularity and influence of Hakka cuisine; and continued to do a good job in "Top 10 Hotels", "Top 10 Chefs", "Top 10 Waiters", "Top 10 Farmhouses" and "Top 10 Innovative Dishes" The annual selection activity stimulates the innovation vitality of the industry and promotes the healthy development of the industry. At the same time, the party building has led the development of the association with remarkable results, and batches of advanced figures have been emerging; the association has served its members in depth and meticulously to help the industry develop and grow; actively cooperated with the government to do a good job in food hygiene and fire safety to ensure the stable development of the industry; actively carried out the learning and exchange activities of "going out and inviting in" to promote the improvement of the management level of members' business philosophy; actively applied media platforms to publicize and display Hakka cuisine in Liancheng, and continuously improved its popularity and influence. In 2024, Liancheng County Hakka Food Association will continue to carry forward its fine traditions, continue to innovate and forge ahead, make new and greater contributions to the inheritance and development of Hakka food culture, and further polish the golden signboard of "China's famous Hakka food city".
