In order to further improve the efficiency of public cultural services, continue to promote the construction of scholarly Shenmu, and continuously deepen the reading of the whole people, on April 18, the official operation of the Shenmu Railway Station Tourism Distribution Center (City Study) and the launching ceremony of the National Reading Month were held at the railway station. Vice Mayor He Jiansheng attended the ceremony and announced the official operation of the Shenmu Railway Station Tourism Distribution Center (City Study) and the official launch of the National Reading Month.
At the event site, Shenmu City Library presented more than 350 books to the citizens for free, and held a reading sharing meeting in the city study, so that everyone could visit and experience the city study. Shenmu City Railway Station Tourism Distribution Center City Study has a total construction area of more than 700 square meters, with a collection of 18,000 books, including a tourist supermarket, leisure reading area, mother and baby room, infirmary and other functional areas, and is equipped with self-service card, book return machine, smart reading screen, electronic book borrowing machine and other equipment, is a set of tourism consultation, ticket agency, tourism services, book reading, cultural and creative display, simple meal sales and other comprehensive service windows.
After the city study room is completed and put into use, it has become another new type of cultural exchange space in Shenmu City, which allows tourists who depart or arrive in Shenmu to learn about Shenmu here, promote Shenmu, "encounter" the fragrance of books on the way to play, and encounter "poetry and distance". It is reported that the city study room is open to the public free of charge, and the opening hours are 9:00-21:00 in summer and 9:00-19:00 in winter. The museum is closed all day on Mondays and is open on holidays.
In recent years, Shenmu City has vigorously promoted the high-quality development of public cultural services in accordance with the goal of "first-class in the western region as a whole and leading in the country in the region", transforming public cultural services from first-class facilities to first-class services, and from urban priority to urban-rural integration. A total of 40 library branches and 26 cultural center branches or service points have been built. Public cultural services benefit urban and rural areas, and cultural empowerment bears new fruits. At present, Shenmu City has built the city study room of the railway station tourism distribution center, the city book bar of Yangye Park, the city study room of Xinghuatan Park and five 24-hour intelligent micro libraries, forming a new public cultural space system that combines points and surfaces and links north and south, providing citizens with more convenient and efficient reading services and reading experience.
