In order to strengthen the judicial protection of the rights and interests of women and children, and to implement the new requirements and expectations of the people for further strengthening the judicial protection of women and children's work, on April 16, the District People's Court, together with the District Women's Federation, the District People's Congress, and members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, held a special open day symposium on the protection of the rights and interests of women and children.

At the forum, the staff of the district people's court introduced the overall work of cases involving marriage and family, juvenile crimes, and other cases in the past three years, and analyzed them in combination with typical cases and legal popularization and publicity. The delegates conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the above issues, explored ways to solve them, and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions on improving the protection of the rights and interests of women and children. He affirmed the establishment and improvement of the joint working mechanism of the courts, and expressed the hope that the courts will carry out legal popularization and publicity activities on a regular basis, and provide judicial support and judicial services for the protection of the rights and interests of women and children.

After the meeting, the participants visited the family court, family education guidance workstation, and observed the trial of a family case, and intuitively felt the achievements and applications of the construction of the smart court.

In the next step, the district people's court will further strengthen the concept of active justice, increase the publicity of law popularization, and be good at using typical cases to talk about the people and things around them, so as to achieve the good social effect of hearing a case and governing a piece. Continue to deepen the establishment of communication and cooperation mechanisms with women's federations and other functional departments, based on the function of adjudication, continue to extend judicial services, unite the forces of all parties, promote the governance of family society, and strive to contribute to the health and harmony of social cells.
