Li Jun, deputy mayor of Jiande City, said that after repeated comparisons of multiple addresses around the market town, the relevant departments determined the north side of Jingxi Garden in Xiaya Town, which is the area where the current town government is located, for campus reconstruction. The town government will choose another site for transition after the Spring Festival, and after the school is completed, it will be relocated to the current location of Xiaya Central Primary School for office. In addition, for primary and secondary schools in Jiande City, upgrading and transformation will also be carried out for problems such as insufficient hardware facilities.
According to the plan, the construction of the new school will start in September 2024 and be officially opened in September 2026.
"In the face of the shortage of local educational resources caused by changes in the source of students, we should predict in advance, strengthen research and judgment, and give more support in planning and layout. At present, the Municipal Education Bureau has investigated 27 small-scale and boarding schools in the western mountainous areas of Hangzhou, and plans to withdraw 13 in 2024 to gather educational resources, high schools to the county, junior high schools and primary schools to the township. To promote the transformation and upgrading of rural primary and secondary schools, relevant work plans have been formulated and improved. Carry out the "new four" project for rural schools in the western region. We have paired up to help schools in the western mountainous areas to achieve 100% coverage, and set up 85 teaching donors to improve the quality of education and teaching.
