On April 17, with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan, Xinghe Sanmei Green Development Technology Co., Ltd.'s new energy DC submerged arc furnace ferroalloy low-carbon project officially started.

Xinghe Sanmei Green Development Technology Co., Ltd. is committed to building "China's DC smelting ferroalloy demonstration production base" and "green energy use demonstration base".
The construction of the new energy DC submerged arc furnace ferroalloy low-carbon project, the first phase of the investment of 1.2 billion yuan, located in Xinghe County Industrial Park C area, covers an area of 500 acres, the construction of 6 sets of 32000KVA silicon-manganese ferroalloy DC submerged arc furnace and related ancillary equipment and facilities.
The project will make full use of green energy and use new DC technology to optimize and upgrade the traditional smelting process, save energy and reduce pollution. After completion, it will form an annual production scale of more than 420,000 tons of special alloys, including silicon-manganese alloy, achieve annual sales revenue of 3.5 billion yuan, profits and taxes of 500 million yuan, and provide employment for 500 people.
Shi Wanli, Secretary-General of China Ferroalloy Industry Association, said in his speech: Sanmei has been deeply involved in the ferroalloy industry for many years, and is the leader of low-carbon manganese silicon enterprises in special alloys and the drafter of industry standards. The multi-electrode DC smelting process technology adopted by Sanmei Company has changed part of the theoretical calculation basis of AC furnace process technology and achieved revolutionary progress. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will become a R&D and production base for DC smelting technology in China's ferroalloy industry, a demonstration base for the use of green electricity, and a demonstration enterprise for the high-quality development of the industry and the development of new quality productivity.
