Since 2023, our county has adhered to the principle of taking water as the base, taking the river basin as the scope of implementation, and taking comprehensive treatment as a means to coordinate and promote water resources, water ecology, water environment, water security and other work through measures such as compacting responsibilities, comprehensive policies, joint prevention and co-governance, and continuous innovation.

★ The proportion of comprehensive water quality I.-III. excellent water quality in the 9 national and provincial control main river basins in the county is 100%, and the proportion of Class I.-II high-quality water is 66.7%.
★ The proportion of class I.-III. excellent water quality in the section of the eight provincial-controlled small watersheds in the county is 100%, and the proportion of class I.-II high-quality water is 50%.
★ The water quality compliance rate of centralized drinking water sources at the county level and above is 100%.
★ The proportion of class I.-III. excellent water quality in the 18 provinces of the county is 100%, of which the proportion of class I.-II high-quality water is 77.8%.
★ Qianlu Lake was selected as a typical case of "Beautiful Rivers and Lakes" in Fujian Province.
★ A number of new practices and experiences, such as deepening the cooperation of Fujian, Guangdong and Jiangxi "three provinces and five counties" ecological protection areas, and establishing a "veteran river chief" river protection team, have been affirmed by provinces and cities.
