On March 28, Changan Automobile's compact SUV, the Changan UNI-Z, was officially launched, with a price range of 117,900-131,900 yuan. The car is positioned as an A+ class compact SUV, with a new interior layout and a new Blue Whale Power 1.5L plug-in hybrid system.
In terms of appearance, Changan UNI-Z adopts the family-style vertical and horizontal design concept, the front of the car is equipped with an inverted trapezoidal grille, and the interior adopts a dot matrix grille to enhance the domineering effect, the headlight shape is more sharp, and the top is the LED daytime running lights, and the headlights are located on both sides of the middle grid, and the effect is more prominent. The front bumper is a three-stage air intake style, and the air vents on both sides are accented with chrome trim strips to enhance the sporty look.
On the side of the body, the overall shape of Changan UNI-Z is still relatively full, with a tough waistline running through the body, a suspended roof design above, and a broken line at the D-pillar position, showing a stronger sense of power, in addition, the tilt angle of the D-pillar is larger, which better highlights the sportiness of the new car. Under the body, there are stiff and expanded wheel arches, with large wheels, which further enhance the sporty atmosphere of the vehicle. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4730/1890/1680mm, and the wheelbase reaches 2795mm.
At the rear of the car, the biggest change in Changan UNI-Z is the use of through-type taillight clusters, which are intuitively distinguished from Auchan Z6. It retains the sloping rear windshield, the spoiler that extends above the roof, the dynamic shape, and the high-mounted brake light in the middle are more prominent, which enhances the individuality of the vehicle.
Entering the car, Changan UNI-Z canceled the dual screen of Auchan Z6, adopted the independent setting of LCD instrument and central control screen, and also matched with the electronic shift mechanism of the yacht gear knob style, creating a strong visual impact and full of science fiction. In addition, in the center of the center console (near the inside of the front windshield), a battleship-shaped ambient light is also set up, which can be linked with the driving status of the vehicle, bringing users an immersive futuristic technology driving experience.
In terms of power, Changan UNI-Z is equipped with a new Blue Whale power 1.5L plug-in hybrid system, which is composed of a 1.5-liter engine (JL469Q1) + front single motor + power battery, with a maximum engine power of 72 kilowatts (98 horsepower) and a peak torque of 125 Nm, and a motor with a maximum power of 158 kilowatts (215 horsepower) and a peak torque of 330 Nm. In terms of range, all three models have a battery pack capacity of 18.4 kWh, a CLTC pure electric range of 125 km, a minimum state-of-charge fuel consumption of 5.15 liters, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.4 seconds.
