Recently, the middle grade group of Guanting Primary School in Baqiao District successfully held a series of comprehensive practice activities with the theme of "Chang'an is full of stories". The purpose of this activity is to promote and inherit the excellent traditional culture, and to let students have an in-depth understanding of the history of the ancient capital and feel the charm of humanity by telling the story of Chang'an, so as to enhance students' cultural self-confidence and promote their all-round development.
In the activity, the students actively participated, based on reading stories and collecting materials, through painting, handicrafts and storytelling, showing the thousand-year-old history and style of Chang'an. They use delicate brushstrokes to depict the majesty of the terracotta warriors and horses, the ingenious craftsmanship of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and the solemnity of the bell and drum tower.
In addition, the students made a model of Chang'an cuisine using ultra-light clay, and the exquisite food was lifelike and mouth-watering. In the production process, the students not only exercised their hands-on ability, but also deepened their feelings for the city of Chang'an and experienced the charm of traditional culture.
The "I'll tell the story of Chang'an" link pushed the event to a climax. The students told the stories of Chang'an that they had read, starting from one village, one courtyard, one street and one alley, vividly reproducing the prosperous style of Chang'an and the richness of the ancient city of Xi'an. In the wonderful story, the historical figures became vivid, and the students seemed to travel through time and space, dialogue with the ancients, and appreciate the unique charm of Chang'an from the story.
This activity not only enriched the inner world of the students, allowing them to have an in-depth understanding of the unique charm and rich history of Chang'an through reading participation and interactive experience, but also enhanced their close connection with the city. At the same time, the students drew wisdom and strength from these stories, and planted an unwavering cultural confidence in their hearts, so that the precious cultural heritage can be better inherited and carried forward.
