The GDI University Rankings (2024) vocational undergraduate evaluation index system sets up 6 first-level indicators such as school-running conditions, talent training, scientific research, social reputation, service to society and international influence, and consists of 15 second-level indicators and more than 130 sub-indicators such as faculty, moral cultivation, training conditions, training achievements, scientific research achievements, school reputation, technical services, etc., insisting on talent training as the core, and striving to comprehensively, objectively and scientifically evaluate the development status of vocational colleges at the undergraduate level.

In the "GDI University Ranking (2024) - Top 30 Vocational Undergraduates", Shenzhen Polytechnic University, Nanjing Polytechnic University, and Hebei Polytechnic University are among the top three, and the fourth to tenth are: Hebei Polytechnic University, Hebei Petroleum Polytechnic University, Lanzhou Petrochemical Polytechnic University, Lanzhou Resources and Environment Vocational and Technical University, Shanxi Vocational University of Engineering and Technology, Guangxi Agricultural Vocational and Technical University, and Zhejiang Pharmaceutical Vocational University.
