Sunshine News (Reporter Liu Jie, Correspondent Yong Zhuoya) In order to practice the fundamental task of cultivating morality, promote teacher ethics and teaching style, and promote the improvement of the teaching skills of young teachers in the school, on April 17-18, 2024, Xi'an Chanba No. 33 Primary School held the "Young Teacher Teaching Basic Skills Competition". The competition is divided into three parts: teaching design, non-student micro-class, and lecture. 12 young teachers from the three disciplines of Chinese, English and information technology competed on the same stage and showed their style.

In the course of the competition, the teachers of each subject carefully analyzed the teaching materials, combined with the requirements of the new curriculum standards, gave full play to their teaching wisdom, condensed thinking, and wrote neatly. They can accurately grasp the teaching objectives and teaching difficulties, integrate their teaching concepts into the entire teaching design, the teaching process design is interlocking, the board design is also novel and unique, and the wonderful lesson plans all reflect the teaching style of the teachers of Chanba 33 Primary School.
There are no micro-classes and lectures
The micro-class is divided into three subjects, and the participating teachers attach great importance to it and go all out. Their teaching is unique and innovative, and they infiltrate new educational concepts into the classroom!
Language sub-sections
With the theme of "Sunrise on the Sea", the young teachers of the Chinese group dug deep into the teaching materials and carefully prepared the lessons. They use visual and intuitive teaching methods, create a variety of learning situations, and use childlike language to shorten the distance between children and texts. Although the micro-class is small, there is always a strong Chinese flavor in the classroom.
Session in English
The three teachers take the weather in each region as the main line, drive the classroom activities with the problem chain, guide students to ask questions and solve problems on the text independently, encourage students to dare to put forward different opinions, and pay attention to the cultivation of students' higher-order thinking quality. The course structure is rigorous, interlocking, and the transition is natural, and the teaching objectives are completed, and the class is efficient.
Information technology is divided into fields
With the development of computer technology and the Internet, improving information literacy and establishing information awareness have become an indispensable part of primary and secondary education. The lesson "The Story of Communication" taught by the three teachers can help students master the skills of searching, downloading, classifying, saving, and editing information from the perspective of students based on their basic knowledge. It has achieved the purpose of infiltrating information awareness inadvertently and cultivating information literacy silently.
In the lecture competition, the participating teachers elaborated on the analysis of teaching materials, learning method guidance, teaching objectives, teaching methods, teaching process and board design. In the treatment of teaching materials and teaching methods, the learning situation is fully considered, and the teaching materials are integrated, which reflects the characteristics of the discipline. In terms of teaching methods, we closely follow the teaching objectives and use a variety of teaching methods to stimulate students' interest in learning. The participating teachers' fluent explanations, relaxed teaching style and infectious language showed strong teaching skills and good subject literacy.
Chanba No. 33 Primary School will take this event as an opportunity to continue to consolidate the basic teaching skills of teachers, encourage teachers to continuously improve their own literacy and teaching level in the process of sharpening and summarizing, and actively create high-quality classrooms.
