It is said that the word "Wu" in the Chongming dialect

Chongming people, who were born and raised on Chongming Island, all know that the authentic Chongming people have a physiological characteristic, that is, there is an obvious fork on the nail of the little toe of a person's right foot, and a complete toenail is divided into two petals since the birth of the mother's womb. It is said that someone has observed and recorded that this phenomenon of bifurcation will disappear after a period of time or after the nail is cut off, but his observation shows that not only does a person grow a lifetime (from birth to death), but also from generation to generation, this unique physiological phenomenon has been inherited for hundreds of years, and to this day, the next generation of authentic Chongming people still have this phenomenon.
