Focusing on key tasks such as early warning and monitoring and logistics support, Jiangyong County has taken multiple measures to do a good job in flood prevention and preparedness, comprehensively inspected the facilities and equipment for the prevention and control of flash floods, prepared sufficient emergency rescue materials, and carried out 24-hour on-duty duty, closely monitoring changes in water and rain conditions, and achieving timely flood prevention and early warning. At the same time, we should strengthen the management of rivers during the flood season, improve the flood capacity of rivers by dredging rivers and reinforcing embankments, and ensure the safety of people's lives and property on both sides of the river.
Huang Xinghao, director of the Flood and Drought Disaster Prevention Affairs Center of Jiangyong County Water Conservancy Bureau, said that we have monitored the water level of 27 reservoirs and 11 rivers in the county in real time through the flash flood monitoring and early warning management system, combined with advanced equipment such as drones, video monitoring stations, and rainfall and water level integrated stations, so as to realize the automation of flood control monitoring and early warning, and make every effort to ensure flood safety.
