A few days ago, the No. 8 Road under Yamen Road in Shijingshan District crossed the 101 railway frame bridge successfully completed the jacking construction task, marking the smooth opening of the concave bridge section and will become an important channel connecting the western and southern regions of Shijingshan District.

The total length is about 1.2 km. According to the standard design of urban secondary trunk roads, the design speed is 40 km/h, the width of the red line is 30 meters to 50 meters, two-way four-lane is set, and motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles are mixed.
● The important node of the road construction mainly involves the construction of 3 railway lines, in the early stage, the main leaders of the Shijingshan District Government actively docked and coordinated, the Beijing Bureau of the National Railway gave strong support to the road construction in our district, and with the active efforts of various departments and road construction and construction units in the district, the current railway-related section of the project is progressing smoothly, and the next step is that the District Urban Management Committee will take the lead in reasonably arranging the construction period, continue to speed up the construction work, and complete the construction as soon as possible.
● The road involves a new frame bridge across the 101 railway, in the form of a four-hole conjoined type, with a total length of 20.832 meters, a total width of 40 meters, and a total height of 8.2 meters, designed as a two-way four-lane bridge. The bridge body is jacked from east to west, the construction method of first prefabrication and then jacking is adopted, the frame bridge has a self-weight of 4148 tons, the maximum jacking force is 6222 tons, and the top stroke is 51.48 meters.
● The construction point of the underpass railway jacking frame bridge is located in the line between Shijingshan South Station and Yamen Station, inside the Yamen Urban Forest Park, and there are football fields and other public activity places around the site, with a large flow of people and a high degree of safety risk.
After the opening of Yamen No. 8 Road, it will become an important passage connecting the western and southern areas of Shijingshan District, and an important part of the regional road network connecting Fengtai District in the east and Chang'an Avenue in the north. The use of this new road will smooth the external travel of the shantytown reform area at the Yamen, strengthen the regional traffic carrying capacity, comprehensively improve and improve the living environment of the surrounding residents, and is of great significance to the improvement of the regional traffic road network at the Yamen Gate in Shijingshan.
