When a friend who likes pen and ink comes, he sometimes brings a roll of paper and says it's for me. Spread out, it was already very warm, and I pondered the years of paper in my heart. He said it was ancient paper, and he said a year in passing. Oh my God, it's been so long. He said that he had obtained it from the descendants of an old bureaucrat, who were illiterate, and that he had a chance. He was telling a whole story, and I listened quietly, touching my finger to the paper a few times, if not as long as he had said, at least much older than I was. Later, some friends and students sent old paper, or opened the briefcase, and grabbed two ingot ink from it, they slept in the ink cartridge for a long time, and stood on the table at this time, black and thick, like a six-edged prayer building, very stable. If you hold it with five fingers and grind, the ink will be smooth. Gu Mo - He emphasized that it would be better to put it down. He wants me to play with it, nostalgic for the past, and start with a piece of ink. Because of the appearance of paper and ink, several conversations have been conducted around them, and I also know that some people who are not familiar with calligraphy take the four treasures of the Tibetan literature as their comfort, and they only go in and out, and they are not willing to part with their love. The so-called hiding is a kind of absorption and stacking, which can be regarded as one of people's hobbies.

What would a piece of paper and a piece of ink look like if it were hidden for another 100 years? The more things are passed on, the more they are passed on, the less they are transmitted, and the more rare they become. In order to improve one's reputation and status, one must exert all one's energy and wisdom, or seek the help of others, in order to advance to a high place. It's like how difficult it is for a person to write a decent article, to be called a writer, to publish at least three or five articles in a high-grade journal. The appreciation of things is the opposite of people, you don't have to work hard, you can just lie down and sleep, no matter what great changes happen in this world, it is as silent as ever and does not have to participate. Just like an old piece of paper, if it does not encounter fire and water in a hundred years, it can be upgraded from old paper to ancient paper, and someone will visit it. This kind of change can be seen everywhere - a young man who went to a distant mountain village to join the queue, later left, and then became a celebrity, and the local people hung a sign on the door of the house where he lived, marking the old residence of so-and-so, which was regarded as a cultural attraction in the village - as time passed, the house became older and more valuable. The same is true for the increase in the value of a piece of paper and a piece of ink, they only need to lie in the arms of time, not knowing the ugliness of Jiazi and Yizi, and not knowing the chaos and chaos.

I hid these old papers, ancient papers, old ink, and ancient ink, which is regarded as a kind of respect for the giver. There is so much space in the house, it is not difficult to hide them. Sometimes I open it and look at it when I have nothing to do. On rainy days in the south, their breath changes a little, which can be felt visually and tactilely. I once went to the ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River that was rich in paper and ink, and saw them dusty in the corners of the shelves. The guide said that after a long time, even the layer of raw edge paper wrapped around is very valuable. After looking at the price, I felt that it was intentionally high, to see if people with collectors were willing to donate. Someone wanted to draw a piece of paper for me to try the pen, and I thought that fate had not yet arrived, and I didn't want to do it. If you really want to do it, you have a little empty posture at the beginning, draw a piece of paper with your hand, let it be a hundred years, five hundred years long, spread out, and hold it with a copper ruler. Draw a pen, don't try, just wet the ink and fall. At this time, it must be heartless, and it is bound to write this piece of paper all over or even break it, and it will be dry and cracked, and it will be fast. Things are for people, not for bluffing - a person is right to think so, and my attitude towards things is probably the same.

For the giver, not only the paper and ink given away, but also the big red robe and purple clay pot, will be attached with the word "handmade" by the way, as soon as these two words come out, the item seems to increase in value. For example, the machines in the framing shop work there, but the workers say that they are framed by hand, which makes people a lot happier. I have heard a lot of the word "handmade", and countless big hands with bulging green muscles appear in front of people's eyes. I don't doubt that handicraft has ever intervened, I want to distinguish between the finesse of handiwork. For example, old paper, old ink, absolutely from the hand, although the years have passed, it can still be seen that the once skilled or unfamiliar movements, some of their hands can be called skillful, some are raw, clumsy. So much paper and ink, hands from different ages, and the temperament behind them, all seem to be silently refining and pulping, or engrossed, or absent-minded, and the feel is not in the same style, which makes these objects more and more different in the future. Pen and ink colleagues always like to say that "everyone is old", and give it cheaply to the elderly, does this "old" refer to the old and old kung fu in hand, or does it allude to the old and aging? Sometimes compared with the works, it is really the latter.

"Inheritance" is a word that we often come up with, and a family collection can allow people to see the unpredictable and distant – as long as the object is not damaged, there is never an end in sight. I have no interest in the "end", a person cannot live forever with things, and there is no obligation to preserve the collection for future generations in the form of collections. What is good for this generation may not be anything in the eyes of the next generation. A generation has a generation's aesthetic taste, just like the descendants of famous calligraphers, often can't take the sheep's hair, the Tang Dynasty calligraphy is so prosperous, I haven't heard that Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan's descendants also like the eight laws. Collecting is a very personal thing, and others have nothing to do, you can be happy because of collecting in this life, as for the future, it seems that there is no need to worry about it. When a person doesn't want to collect and feels that it is a burden, he can use these collections. I don't know what day I started grinding with Tibetan ink and swaying it on the Tibetan paper—because of the different years, the fingers and wrists felt differently, and my expression had a kind of openness and galloping. When can you make the best use of things, and when you don't need them? Especially if you don't enjoy the tasteful materials, you always want to leave them to future generations, which is really unreasonable. Previously, I didn't believe in Zhao Yi's "moon pill ink", thinking that most of the literati's pen was empty, but in fact, it was possible, the more ink grinded, the more paper was written, and they were gradually disappearing.

In the years when old paper, old ink, ancient paper, and ancient ink were consumed, the days passed very slowly, and in the face of the endless Minjiang River, I always grinded slowly, so that the ink particles were more delicate and the ink fragrance was more fully revealed. Time doesn't need to catch up, and it can't catch up, so just sit down and watch how a piece of ink goes from tall to short. A piece of ink stands so tall that it can't stand the slow motion of grinding, and I'm worried that a piece of ink will turn into juice without grinding, and time will go too fast. Both old ink and ancient ink have their own characteristics, which are solid and fine, and make a crisp sound like a green brick when struck. Their disappearance is often unnoticed, and it is the incomparably hard inkstone file that takes away their height, just like a person who grows old, his vigor weakens - the last ingot of ink is like a lotus leaf lying in the water, and then, it melts into the water, and its former hardness is presented as soft. The end of each ingot makes me think, from solid to liquid, transformed by my persistence and strength. In those years, I was not always as calm as water, and the occasional unhappiness caused me to rub violently and rapidly, and kept a piece of ink away from peace. There will not be too many days for the ink, pen, and paper to fit, and the fit is unintentionally realized. As the ink disappears, so does the paper, and they are processed by me after they have fallen into a dark and dreary handwriting, and I don't know what to do.

Don't put good things too close - I used to hear people talk about it and thought it was very philosophical, but you don't need so much philosophy to live. Just like these ancient papers and inks that once had a good name, if they were not used and left to sleep, or worshipped as gods, they would never fulfill their function as material uses, and after I have passed them, I am sure that what is appropriate to speak to people.
