On April 17, Tang Chao, director of the Pharmacy Department of Shaodong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and his party came to the second primary school in the city and brought a unique lecture on traditional Chinese medicine culture to the children. The purpose of this activity is to popularize the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine to teachers and students, promote traditional culture, and improve the interest of teachers and students in traditional Chinese medicine culture.
At the beginning of the activity, student Zhao Tengjun brought a song "Li Shizhen, the King of Medicine", and he expressed the children's infinite curiosity about Chinese medicine culture with a loud singing voice. Then, Li Lijuan, a Chinese pharmacist from Shaodong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, began her explanation. She introduced the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine such as jade bamboo and lily to the teachers and students in vivid language, and emphasized the important position of traditional Chinese medicine culture in the long history of the Chinese nation.
In order to let the children feel the charm of Chinese medicine culture more intuitively, the lecture also set up an experience link, where teachers and students participated in the identification of Chinese medicine and had a "close contact" with Chinese herbal medicine.
This lecture not only increased the students' knowledge, but also made the children have a strong interest in the culture of traditional Chinese medicine. Tang Ziqian, a student, said: "I used to know little about Chinese medicine, but after listening to Dr. Li's explanation, I have a better understanding of Chinese medicine, and I will tell my family about it when I go back today."
The lecture not only provides a platform for teachers and students to understand traditional culture, but also further enhances their sense of identity with the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation.
