The side profile of the new Nissan Qashqai is largely the same as that of the current model, with the front and rear wheel arches fine-tuned, and some models will also be fitted with newly designed rims. The rear remains compact, while the interior of the taillights and the rear bumper have been redesigned.
The interior of the new Nissan Qashqai continues the layout of the current model, but the size of the floating center console has been increased, right-angled elements have been added to the edges, the physical knobs on both sides of the screen have been eliminated, and a new infotainment system based on Google's Android car operating system has been added.
At the same time, the car is still equipped with a full LCD instrument panel, 360-degree reversing image, automatic parking, BOSE brand audio and other configurations, increasing driver fatigue monitoring, automatic emergency braking, emergency lane keeping assistance and accident data recording, and also improving the pixels of the exterior camera.
As a mid-life facelift, the new Nissan Qashqai powertrain remains unchanged, with a 1.3-liter mild hybrid powertrain and an e-Power hybrid system available as a choice. In the domestic market, Dongfeng Nissan Qashqai provides two sets of power: a 1.3T engine and a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine.

The first generation of Qashqai was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2004, when Nissan's development of the European market was pioneered with the concept of crossover SUV. On August 16, 2023, the new third-generation Dongfeng Nissan Qashqai was launched in China, in addition to adopting a new design, it also introduced a 1.3T power system, and adopted the strategy of selling the same hall as the old 2.0-liter model.
