The new generation of Mustang will be launched in China. Recently, we learned from overseas media that Ford has launched a set of 60th anniversary package decorations for the new Mustang, which is only applicable to the new Mustang GT Premium model, and is limited to 1,965 units, which is scheduled to be officially launched at the end of this year. There is no clear word on whether the commemorative version will be available in China.
Judging from the official pictures, the trim package will include single five-spoke retro rims borrowed from the 1965 model, blacked-out headlights, specially textured front fender 5.0 badge/rear GT badge, etc., and the car will also get a retro mesh grille with silver accents, silver trim mirror shells and other detail elements.
In addition, the 60th Anniversary Package is only available in white, Racing Red or Steam Blue paint, as well as in convertible or hardtop body styles. The side-drawn stripes are available in red or silver, while the interior is available in grey, red or black, with the 60th Anniversary logo above the passenger glove box.
As the package is only available for the all-new Mustang GT Premium, the limited edition model still features a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine with a maximum power of 480 hp in the North American version, mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic manual transmission.

In the domestic market, Mustang does not have a direct competitor in terms of model positioning and price range. The previously sold Mustang (2.3T power, guide price 382,800 yuan) can buy BMW Z4 and Toyota SUPRA with a little more budget, and if you reduce some budget, you can buy the Subaru BRZ with the same outstanding play attributes, of course, their style orientation is obviously different. In the North American market, its old rivals mainly include models such as the Chevrolet Camaro and the Dodge Challenger.
