Hua Hui, whose name is Changjun, was born in a famous family, and was the grandson of Taiwei Huaxin during the Cao Wei period, and the eldest son of Taichang Huabiao. He has been taught by strict tutors since he was a child, and he excels in learning. Because his father-in-law Lu Yu served as a pawn, in order to avoid suspicion and not raise his in-laws, Hua Hui did not step into the official career until he was 35 years old.
Therefore, he set up a museum at home to teach apprentices, teach a subset of scripture and history, and cultivate batches of outstanding students. When Hua Hui was thirty-five years old, Sima Yan, Emperor Wu of the Jin Dynasty, said that Hua Hui was magnificent, quick-thinking, talented and righteous, and should serve as a secretary.
In 265 A.D., Hua Hui was awarded the position of redundant servant, and later he was able to say that it was smooth sailing, successively serving as the Yellow Gate Squire, the Loose Cavalry Attendant, the former army general, the Shizhong, the Nanzhong Lang General, and the military governor of Hebei.
But he was framed by some and accused of taking bribes. Although he did nothing wrong, he was removed from his official position, removed from his name, cut down his knighthood, and even prevented from inheriting his father's title. This is undoubtedly a heavy blow to an official who already has a great future.
Huahui did not sink because of this. He lived at home for more than ten years, and during this time, he did not give up on himself, but used his knowledge to teach his children and grandchildren and teach them the principles of life. At the same time, he also recited the classics, so that more people could understand and learn the wisdom of the ancients. He collected the important things about the scriptures and wrote the book "Good Texts", which was passed down to the world, leaving a valuable legacy for future generations.
In addition, he grows vegetables and raises pigs at home, living a self-sufficient life. Although his life became simple, he found joy in it, and his life became full and happy because of it.
In 280, the amnesty, he attacked Guanyang Bo, worshiped the captain of the city gate, and moved to the general of the left guard. A few years later, he became the supervisor of the middle school. In 290, he was added to the service, Guanglu Doctor, and Shang Shuling, and became a duke.
Hua Hui was a man of principle, and his character and integrity were well known at the time. He was unwilling to submit to the powerful, even if Henan Yin Hanshou wanted to marry his daughter to his grandson Hua Tao through Empress Jia, he also sternly refused, unwilling to join Empress Jia because of this. This kind of principled behavior has cost him. Because of this, Empress Jia held a grudge against him and tried her best to take revenge, which made Hua Hui suffer greatly.
When Yang Jun was in power, Hua Hui was punished by dismissal because of his integrity. When Yang Jun was killed, he was appointed as the young master of the crown prince and a regular attendant. Later, he was promoted to Guanglu Doctor and Kaifu Yitong Sansi, and he died at the age of seventy-five, nicknamed "Yuan", which was the highest evaluation of his life.
