"Before the official opening of the new line, in order to ensure the safe operation of the subway, we had to carry out a night safety inspection during the no-load test run. Before the opening of Lines 1 and 2, Yuan Chiyu and his team always ran between underground stations and tunnels from 11 o'clock in the evening to 4 a.m. the next morning, and needed to walk more than 10 kilometers a day on average.
