Su Bin, a native of Baoshan, Shanghai, is a descendant of Su Dongpo, a writer in the Song Dynasty. Since childhood, he likes to paint, and has studied under the sea painter Wang Peng, and has been guided by many famous teachers at sea. His works inherit the tradition and establish new ideas, including the beauty of the southern landscape and the majestic landscape of the north, combining the modern painting composition and color on the basis of tradition, so that the work has a strong visual impact.

Su Bin said that the purpose of holding this exhibition is to let the audience understand literati paintings, enter the life interests and aesthetics of the ancients, and deeply understand the breadth and profundity of traditional Chinese culture.

In order to make the works closer to the aesthetics of modern people, Su Bin used traditional brush and ink when creating this part of the work, but the composition and color are closer to the modern aesthetics. My predecessor once said that "brush and ink should be in line with the times", and my interpretation is to use traditional brush and ink combined with modern aesthetics to draw our modern works. ”

On the day of the exhibition, Su Bin's teacher, Wang Peng, a painter from the sea, also came to the exhibition site and commented on his disciple's works. Wang Peng believes that Su Bin's works absorb a lot of Western elements in color, but retain the style of Chinese landscape painting, which is self-contained. Each painting has its own characteristics, not the same, there is no sense of cumbersomeness, although the shape does not change much, but the color and interest are very rich.

"'Danqing Building Dreams' is the 91st exhibition held by Huihong Building. We want to build Huihong Building into a base for the inheritance of calligraphy and painting, so this time we specially invited Mr. Su Bin to hold a landscape painting exhibition. The prices for these paintings are also very affordable. Chen E, president of the Shanghai Xuhui District Calligraphy and Painting Association, said that although the area of Huihong Building is not large, but the cultural content is very high, the hundredth session this year, will join hands with the Yangtze River Delta cities to jointly organize the exhibition, "make the small exhibition hall into a large cultural platform, so that more artists can enter the painter's street, so that more calligraphy and painting works from Huihong Building into the homes of ordinary people." ”
