Leading the Future Industry Action Plan was released

At the opening ceremony of the conference on the afternoon of April 17, the action plan for Purple Mountain Science and Technology City to accelerate the cultivation of future industries with 6G technology was officially released.

Jiangning Development Zone is making every effort to build a Purple Mountain Science and Technology City covering 43 square kilometers. Focus on accelerating the cultivation of future industries led by 6G technology. It will anchor the key areas of 3+X, implement six Zijin projects, introduce ten Zijin policies, and carry out two Zijin recruitment.

3+x focus areas

It will focus on building three high-growth future industries: advanced communications, future networks, and artificial intelligence. At the same time, it cultivates x cutting-edge future industries.

Six Zijin projects

Promote the original innovation breakthrough project, the achievement transformation acceleration project, the major platform open source project, the industrial cluster building project, the application scenario traction project, and the factor resource guarantee project. Through the industrial chain through the service, we will focus on cultivating high-growth technology-based enterprises and high-tech enterprises such as specialized, special and new, pedal antelope, unicorns, etc., and make every effort to attract and cultivate head enterprises and industry backbone enterprises that are ecologically led and lead industrial development.

Ten Zijin policies

Support the guidance of major projects and standardization, support the formation of innovation consortiums, support the research and development of core chips and devices, support the open sharing of platforms, support the agglomeration of satellite Internet enterprises, support the construction of low-orbit satellite ground infrastructure and test platforms, support artificial intelligence start-up enterprises, support enterprises to carry out the development of large models in the artificial intelligence industry, support enterprises to upgrade their files, and support the agglomeration of X cutting-edge future enterprises.

Two Purple Gold Recruitment

The recruitment action of "Zijin Think Tank" of the future industry and the recruitment of "Zijin Partner" of the future industry.

At the same time, the conference also put forward an initiative to work together to promote global 6G consensus and cooperation.

1. Clear 6G positioning. Taking advantage of the breakthrough trend of AI basic technology, we will clarify the vision of intelligent inclusiveness, build an intelligent endogenous service architecture, break through the scope of mobile communication applications, and realize comprehensive information services beyond connectivity.

2. In-depth research on new scenarios, facing the full integration of man, machine and things, studying new modes of interaction between the physical world and the digital world, and focusing on typical application scenarios and needs of 6G.

3. The whole industry will jointly define 6G, build a new ecosystem of open cooperation from the perspective of technical design, meet the requirements of green and sustainable development, integrate the characteristics of synaesthesia computing intelligence, and strive to promote 6G to become an important part of future infrastructure.

Fourth, establish a broad platform organization and coordination mechanism. Driven by the ITU 6G vision and centered on the 3GPP standards organization, we will work with various regional platforms and organizations to introduce the needs of various regional platforms and organizations to jointly promote win-win cooperation in 6G future industries and service applications.

Cutting-edge technology achievements display

6G technology is expected to come to life in 2030

6G network architecture and key technologies, 6G wireless coverage expansion technology, 6G wireless air interface transmission technology, 6G high-density RF front-end technology, 6G wireless network security architecture key technology, 6G full-scene on-demand service key technology, space-ground integration 6G satellite communication three-dimensional intelligent networking technology, etc. At the conference site, a number of 6G cutting-edge technology achievements were displayed for everyone in the form of static graphics, audio and video, and physical objects.

"The key technical indicators shown here include ultra-high throughput rate, ultra-high spectral efficiency and low latency, high reliability and communication-aware convergence, and air-to-ground convergence, which are typical 6G scenarios. Wang Dongming, the project leader of the Purple Mountain Laboratory Pervasive Communication Center and a professor at Southeast University, introduced.

6G non-cellular radio access network system is a new type of networking, in the process of iterative upgrading of traditional communication, it is often necessary to lay more base stations, the biggest disadvantage of the traditional cellular network access system is that there will be interference between each other after the density of the base station increases, which affects the efficiency of the network, and the 6G non-cellular wireless access network system jointly developed by Purple Mountain Laboratory and Southeast University will eliminate interference through mutual cooperation between base stations, and greatly improve the quality of network communication.

The 6G end-to-end integrated test platform includes six application scenarios, three of which are developed based on the original 5G technology, and the other three new scenarios are the integration of 6G and AI, 6G synaesthesia fusion and ubiquitous connection, that is, 6G air-ground integration.

"The speed of 6G is at least ten times higher than that of 5G, and the air fusion of 6G is more obvious. For example, we can do human health monitoring through wireless base stations, and we can also monitor airspace through 6G. Now the low-altitude economy is very hot, and we can do some UAV detection and perception directly with the base station. Wang Dongming introduced.

According to reports, the 6G standardization discussion will start in 2025, and it is expected to be formed around 2028, and 6G technology will be applied in 2030.
