Located in the Songjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the Rolls-Royce Parts Distribution Center has recently opened, which can handle about 80% of the spare parts supply and distribution needs of Rolls-Royce Greater China, which will minimize the waiting time of Chinese consumers in the after-sales process, and it is estimated that the spare parts deployment time can be reduced by 5 days.
With a storage area of approximately 560 square meters, 80 percent of the parts required for the Greater China market are expected to be shipped directly from here. The distribution center will make full use of the bonded function and location advantages of Songjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, integrate warehousing, customs clearance, logistics and delivery, etc., and deliver goods on the same day of receiving orders, and complete the distribution to dealers in major cities within 24 hours to 48 hours, which is expected to be shortened by 5 days compared with the original.

The relevant person in charge of Songjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone said that in recent years, Songjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone has fully explored the bonded functional formats, and actively built an advanced manufacturing center, a global electronic product distribution center, a high-end consumer goods distribution center and a testing and maintenance center with the advantages of efficient and convenient customs clearance, meticulous and thoughtful service, location advantage at the southwest gateway of Shanghai and the first-mover advantage of the source of the G60 science and technology innovation corridor in the Yangtze River Delta, so as to cultivate new quality productivity. It is in this context that Rolls-Royce finally decided to settle the spare parts distribution business in Songjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone after several months of rigorous assessment and trial operation.
