Refractive errors, including farsightedness, myopia and astigmatism, have become one of the important public health problems in children and adolescents. In order to reduce the impact of refractive error on oneself, it is important to make a clear diagnosis and provide timely and effective treatment according to the type of refractive error.
Jiuting Town Community Health Service Center specially invited Dr. Lu Yi from the Southern Optometry Clinic of Shanghai First People's Hospital to sit for consultation. The child's eyes can be examined and evaluated at the "doorstep" to make a preliminary determination of the type and degree of refractive error. If there is a problem, make a timely referral, improve the eye examination, and develop a personalized prevention and control plan.

Attending physician of the refractive clinic of the South Hospital of Shanghai First People's Hospital
He is a Ph.D. in Ophthalmology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a visiting scholar at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine (UMASS).
As the first author, he has published more than 10 SCI papers
He has presided over the Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the "Sail Plan" project of Shanghai Science and Technology Talents
Obtained the first batch of "China Refractive Science Visual Health Management Talent Training Certification"
Areas of expertise: diagnosis and treatment of refractive errors in children and adolescents, prevention and control of myopia, and correction of myopia and astigmatism in adults
