A year of devil training is only for the formation of good habits
The training course for Beijing Renyi performance students is a new model for Beijing Renyi to innovate according to the needs of practical development on the basis of the original "group leading class" and the talent training form of joint classes with universities. The selection is carried out from the professional performance talents, and the talent selection and training are carried out with the teaching system with human characteristics. The first phase will be held in 2019 and the second phase in 2022.

In a year, they have participated in almost all the performances of the theater's repertoire in 2023, running tricks, pushing props, and even playing a leading role in "The Pride of Heaven", more than 20 lectures, more than 30 teachers inside and outside the academy take turns to teach, Feng Yuanzheng said that there are no Saturdays in their year, only Sundays, evening performances, and early morning work. In his opinion, the most important thing about the quick progress of the year is the formation of habits, "They have developed the habit of waking up early and reading regularly throughout the year. In fact, I know that after about two months, some students can't hold on anymore, but after a while, they find that waking up early is actually a good habit. ”
Zhou Qingyun, a student of the cadet class, said, "In the cadet class, we have to read a book every month, which is about the stage art of a certain play in the theater, we have to take reading notes, and we have to handwrite how we feel after reading, which is an assignment to be completed every month." Combing through the courses of the student class, Kunqu opera, cross talk, drums, qin books, and even national standard dance, modern dance, and sword dance are all in the curriculum, but in fact, these courses are set up precisely for "slotting". In Feng Yuanzheng's view, "Beijing Renyi has been like this historically, and such courses are closely related to the Beijing Renyi School of Drama." For example, simply using the Western-style pronunciation method, the pronunciation of the words is not clear, and the Chinese quyi pronunciation of the words and the pronunciation are all in the lips and teeth, how to open the mouth, and the words spoken should be clear and far away, Renyi has a set of such teaching experience. ”
Zhou Qingyun said, "The teachers have never told you what the groove of Renyi is and how you should go about it, but he will tell you that the current performance may not be right, and whether you want to try other ways, this is a process of trial and error and non-stop trying." At the beginning, the 2019 cadet class had brought pressure to the young actors in the theater, and in Tang Ye's opinion, the 2022 class should add the word "more", "Especially when you are in a crew, everyone is looking at each other, this is a healthy competition, find gaps with each other." "In the future, Renyi's open-door talent selection and training method may be extended to other fields other than performance, such as choreography, stage art, etc.
