Today (April 17th), the Red Star News reporter and Jiang Shengyin, the designer of the "Hanging Lake Shuyu" of the Ten Views of the World Garden, and the project leader of Chengdu Design Consulting Group and the Municipal Municipal Institute, explored Jiangxia Lake and "Hanging Lake Shuyu" together, started the journey of the World Garden in the landscape painting, experienced the "secret realm through the secluded" in the "Water Curtain Cave", unlocked the "check-in method" of the first stop of the World Garden Waterscape in advance, and revealed the design logic behind the ecological combination of "Lake + Mountain + Waterfall + Secret Land".

Three check-in spots at the first stop of the World Garden Waterscape
After the opening of the expo, the No. 1 entrance of the main venue will welcome many tourists, and Jiangxia Lake will also become the first water feature that visitors can see when entering the park from this direction, which also means that "check-in" can start from here.
Starting from the edge of Jiangxia Lake next to the main exhibition hall, watch the surrounding scenery along the left bank of the lake, walk to the edge of "Hanging Lake Shuyu", pass a trail to the bottom of the waterfall, and then walk on the tourist plank road in front of the waterfall, and finally enter the "secret land through the secluded" - this is the tour route of Jiangxia Lake + Hanging Lake Shuyu.
Jiang Shengyin, the designer of the "Hanging Lake Shuyu" of the Ten Scenic Spots of the World Garden, introduced that there are three "check-in points" on the above tour route: the starting point of the lakeside, the tourist plank road in front of the waterfall, and the secret place. At the starting point, you can see the fountain of Jiangxia Lake, and there is a water show at night; you can see the whole picture of the waterfall by checking in on the plank road, which is very shocking; there are antique pavilions with two-storey design in the "secret land through seclusion", standing on the second floor, you can have a glance at the Tianfu Eye, Jinyun Tower, bamboo bridge, waterfall hotel, etc. in the distance.
After the opening of the park, the different forms of the lake and the waterfall can not only present the beauty of the contrasting waterscape to visitors, but also bring unexpected joy to the water show planned and designed by the lake.
In addition, after tourists come out of the "secret land", the designed route is far from the end. "About 50 meters after coming out, visitors can open another special way to visit the EXPO. Jiang Shengyin said.

Two attractions are connected into one
The water storage work of Jiangxia Lake will start in December 2023, and so far the water storage work has been completed, and the construction of the scenic spot "Hanging Lake Shuyu" on the north shore of the lake has also been completed. According to the person in charge of the relevant project of Chengdu Garden Expo Company, the details are being continuously improved, and efforts are being made to present a better water feature of the World Garden at the opening of the World Horticultural Expo.
"Jiangxia Lake is actually part of the comprehensive management of the Jiangxi River, so in the design of the tour route, it is related to the surface of the Jiangxi River and the landscape on the shore. Jiang Shengyin introduced that Jiangxia Lake covers an area of nearly 40,000 square meters, with a total water capacity of about 66,000 cubic meters, a depth of 0.5~4m, and a shoreline of about 1.4km.
The scenic spot "Hanging Lake Shuyu", which is integrated with Jiangxia Lake, is not only the embankment of Jiangxia Lake, but also a rockery waterfall landscape with a length of nearly 300 meters. The waterfall stretches for 200 meters, and a 3-meter-wide boardwalk is set up in front of the waterfall only 6 meters, as well as a check-in point that is widened to 10 meters. "Tourists standing on the plank road to watch the waterfall, in the surrounding shallow water beach, the sound of falling water created by the environment, there will be a kind of 'flying down 3,000 feet' shocking view. Jiang Shengyin said.
After the plank road, you can "cross the waterfall" and enter the internal passage of the rockery. "This internal passage is actually also a landscape, with flowers and grass, small bridges and flowing water, pavilions and pavilions, which we call 'secret land'. Jiang Shengyin said that when tourists enter the scenery to play, they will be completely immersed in the realm of mountains and rivers, and they can watch the waterfalls flowing down from zero distance.
