Although he didn't win another Big West league championship in his junior season, he showed his potential to NBA scouts who had been following him. Mitchell shook off an early-season injury, averaging 20.0 points, 4.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game in his junior season and was named to the First Team in the Big West League.
Mitchell predicts that he will be selected in the second round in most of the 2024 NBA mock draft, a player who can be an immediate help to the team.
