On April 17, BYD officially released the official picture of Qin L, the new car is positioned as a compact plug-in hybrid sedan, its body size is larger than that of Qin PLUS, and the positioning is also higher. The Qin L is expected to be officially unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show, which opens on April 25, with a starting price of more than 120,000 yuan.
Qin L adopts BYD's latest design language, the headlights and front daytime running lights are quite sharp, the front grille is composed of a large area of chrome dot matrix decoration, and there are air intakes on both sides.
The dragon face shape of Dynasty Network has gone through many iterations, and the degree of perfection of the design is really getting higher and higher. BYD's use of the new design of Song L in plug-in hybrid models is also quite good-looking, and I believe that Qin L can also attract many consumers with its appearance.
Unlike other new power models that focus on simple design, the Qin L body uses a large number of ridge lines to highlight its sense of power and sportiness. The rear of the car is equipped with through-type taillights, the shape of the light cluster is somewhat similar to BYD Han's "Chinese knot", and the rear bumper has an airflow diffuser design, which further enhances the sporty feeling of the rear.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4830/1900/1495mm, and the wheelbase is 2790mm. The Qin L is a lap larger than the Qin PLUS, and it is foreseeable that the cabin space of the Qin L should be larger.
After the launch of the Qin L, it will complement the Qin PLUS DM-i Glory Edition, covering a wider range of prices, catering to more consumers with different needs and different budgets, and thereby increasing brand sales.
Qin L's interior spy photos have also been exposed before, and it adopts a new interior design with a rather simple shape. The new car's instrument panel adopts a symmetrical design, with an LCD instrument and an air conditioning panel integrated into one, and is equipped with a classic rotating central control unit. The new car is also equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel of the same style as the Song L, with a large "Qin" logo in the middle.
The new car is equipped with two places for mobile phones in the central tunnel area, the electronic gear knob is decorated with crystal trim with physical buttons underneath, and the central armrest box is equipped with an NFC key sensing module.
In terms of power, the Qin L is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5L engine + electric motor, with a maximum power of 74kW for the 1.5L engine, and two drive motors with different powers, 120kW and 160kW, are provided.
In terms of range, the Qin L offers two battery packs, 10.08kWh and 15.874kWh, corresponding to a pure electric range of 60km and 90km, and a fuel consumption of 3.8L/100km and 3.98L/100km.
