"Grandma Ye, how did you write such a fun text?" "Grandma Ye, have you really gotten along with giant pandas?" On April 13, on the rooftop of Baoguo Temple in Beijing, a wonderful signing event was underway.
The protagonist of the signing activity is named Ye Guangcen, and the children who like to read must be no stranger to her. She is a national first-class writer, and her works have been selected into the recommended list of "Chinese Good Books" for three consecutive years, and have won awards such as the Lu Xun Literature Award, the Lao She Literature Award, the Horse Award for Minority Literature, the Liu Qing Literature Award, the Xiao Hong Literature Award, the Chinese Women's Literature Award, the China Environmental Protection Literature Award, and the National Outstanding Children's Literature Award. "Uncle Mouse Gets Up Late", "Flower Cat Sanya Goes to the Room", "The Earth Dog Lao Hei is in Trouble", "Panda Little Four", "Monkey Lao Cao" and other popular children's literature works are all from her pen. Old Beijing, full of human touch, and the depths of the Qinling Mountains, where man and nature coexist in harmony, are the sources of inspiration for her creation.
In this signing event, Mr. Ye Guangcen brought her new books "Panda Little Four" and "Monkey Lao Cao". "Little Panda Four" tells the moving story between Wang Wang, a child in the Qinling Mountains, and the giant panda Xiao Si he rescued, showing the love and protection of nature by Chinese children. The novel not only presents the story between Wang Wang and the panda Xiaosi, but also tells the simple and clear mountain people's protection and care for the creatures of the Qinling Mountains, and the selfless dedication of the professional scientific team to the Qinling Nature Reserve. "Monkey Lao Cao" tells the story of the little girl Xiu'er and her grandfather and the golden monkey "Lao Cao" family watching and helping each other, showing the moving scene of the harmonious coexistence of the Qinling mountain people and the golden monkey. In the compact storyline, it presents the protection of a mountain by several generations, and also writes about nature's unreserved giving to the humans who protect them, triggering children's diverse thinking about the theme of "harmonious coexistence between man and nature".
Mr. Yip Kwong Cen took the children into her world of children's literature, and shared with the young readers the original intention, mental journey and interesting stories of children's literature creation over the years. "Are all the interesting stories you wrote in your book your own experience?" "Since you grew up in the old city of Beijing, why do you write about so many animals in the mountains?" The young readers listened with relish, full of curiosity and longing for the distant depths of the Qinling Mountains, and asked questions full of innocence from time to time. Mr. Ye Guangcen also patiently answered them one by one. When it comes to how to write, Mr. Ye Guangcen told the children: "In our daily life, we should 'raise our heads', improve our observation, and have artistic sensibility and expression skills, use our brains and think more, rather than blindly passively accepting external information, which is very important for our writing." ”
Han Bingyi, a young reader, said: "I have read all of Grandma Ye's books, and her books have a very old Beijing flavor, although there are many differences between the descriptions in the books and the environment I live in now, I can still find a lot of resonance."
