In recent years, the Education Bureau of East Lake High-tech Zone has vigorously promoted the in-depth integration of artificial intelligence and education, and the number of artificial intelligence teaching facilities, the number and types of artificial intelligence courses, and the digital literacy of teachers and students in schools in the area have been increasing day by day. The AI intelligent body measurement system is part of the "Smart Education Social Experiment" project of the National Intelligent Social Governance Experimental Comprehensive Base of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone, and is a phased achievement of the "Star Smart School Business Data Connection and Intelligent Upgrade Experiment".

Lv Peng, deputy dean of the Wuhan Institute of Artificial Intelligence of Peking University, introduced that the system comprehensively uses IoT cameras, machine vision, sports vision algorithms, big data analysis and other technologies to automatically complete the collection of students' sports and health data, realize the autonomy, self-service and normalization of students' physical fitness testing, and form a digital portrait of students' physical health. At present, the system has been applied in the fourth elementary school of Optics Valley, the fifteenth elementary school of Optics Valley and the eighteenth elementary school of Optics Valley. With the deepening of the application, in the future, it will fully support the individual evaluation and group evaluation of students in the East Lake High-tech Zone, and help the physical education classroom, physical education high school entrance examination and the whole process of sports quality management.
