The performance specifications of the PS5 Pro have been heavily leaked in recent months, and last night Tom Warren, senior editor of The Verge, tweeted to further confirm the hardware details of this PS5 Pro model:
"I've read a lot of the PS5 Pro's development documentation, and Sony has made some interesting choices for this new console. In the new 'High CPU Frequency Mode', the PS5 Pro CPU targets a frequency of 3.85GHz (10% higher than the PS5). 3.5GHz in standard mode.
Developers can opt for this mode while getting an extra 1.2GB of system memory, as Sony has freed up 13.7GB of space on the PS5 Pro for developers, while the PS5 only has 12.5GB. This is not new information, but I can confirm its accuracy. ”
