A Nintendo spokesperson has confirmed to German media Games Wirtschaft that it will not participate in Cologne 2024 this summer. At present, the organizers of Gamescom 2024 have not announced the list of exhibitors at the exhibition, but it has been confirmed that it will be held in Germany on August 21~25, and the opening night will start on August 20. Host Geoff Keighley has said that Gamescom 2024 has a 66% increase in number of scheduled booths compared to last year.
At last year's Cologne, it was revealed that Nintendo showed a technical demonstration of the Switch 2 in a closed-door meeting at the event. Games such as "Black Myth: Wukong", "Starfield", "Cyberpunk 2077", "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" and "Tekken 8" have also revealed new information at the Cologne exhibition.
