In fact, when I chose the direction and route of application, it was quite difficult, because I was a high school student, and the professional study at university was a new experience for me, so I also thought about it for a long time. For example, UCL's Media BA major sounds quite easy to understand, but in fact, I don't know what exactly I want to learn, but fortunately, Zero Creation has given me relatively professional and objective guidance.
I learned that the new media industry has developed rapidly in recent years, and the prospects are relatively stable and considerable, and it is also a field that I am familiar with and good at, and I believe in my potential in this area, so after thinking about it, I chose media as my main application direction according to my strengths and preferences!
The experience of preparing for the application was very memorable as I completed two portfolios in less than two months while preparing for the A-Level exams.
A-Level sprint period
For example, when I was working on a portfolio photo album, I didn't just pick up the camera and click a few clicks to finish the work, and there were a lot of tedious details that I needed to take care of. I need to make an appointment in advance, and I also need to double-check the time of the group performance and modeling. Before shooting, I had to buy props, bring bags of camera equipment, and so on.
However, no matter how well prepared the plan is, the plan always can't catch up with the changes: for example, the merchant sent the wrong props, which delayed the filming progress, and for example, the time was not confirmed with the model or the model teacher had something to do temporarily, which led to the cancellation and postponement of the whole shoot...... Thankfully, I withstood the pressure, even though the production of the portfolio was forced to be interspersed with the A-Level exams, I balanced the pressure of the two and finally achieved good results in both the portfolio and the academic exams. This application experience has also fully exercised my ability to resist pressure and think skills, and I have gained a lot.

In addition to the academic exams and portfolio, I also put a lot of effort into it, and I would like to thank Zero Chip for the help it has given me. For example, I participated in a lot of internships and research activities to improve my background and soft skills.
In the process of training, I also gradually learned how to grasp the balance between teamwork and individual ability, and the production of the program requires the collective wisdom of everyone, and disagreements between members are inevitable, so it is more necessary to give full play to team spirit and properly handle problems.
In addition, I also participated in the research activities of media and communication, and as the leader of the group, I led the team members to successfully complete the thesis defense and obtained the acceptance letter of the international thesis.

As a high school student, I had to create a portfolio from scratch to prepare for a university application, so in a sense, I guess I applied "interprofessionally". With the help of my teachers and my personal interests, I decided to form my portfolio with graphic design and photography projects.
In the first part of the portfolio, I took into account the characteristics required for the media profession - organization and creativity, and designed a very practical product 'WandR', which means "Roaming + Route", which is a travel planning and sharing platform for teenagers. It aims to help teenagers who are worried about their parents, unable to find a suitable travel route, unable to find a suitable travel companion due to the limitations of age and social experience, to build a travel platform product that integrates travel guide consultation, travel experience sharing, travel route creation, and real-time itinerary sharing.
The second part of my portfolio is my photo collection Right of Wrong. Because I feel that in the Internet era, people continue to output their own opinions, and the phenomenon of "keyboard warriors" and "buttoning hats" has also arisen. "Labeling" has become a profound issue. As I've gotten older, I've become more and more concerned about what others think of me. When I hear someone label me as a so-called one, I consume myself with doubt and denial. This made me think seriously: is labeling good or bad, how should I deal with the labels that others put on me, so I use photography to express my interpretation and thinking about "labels".
As you may have discovered, the inspiration for my portfolio comes from realistic observations and feelings, and what experiences and experiences in life I turn into a professional portfolio.
However, inspiration is only the first step, I encountered many challenges when making a portfolio, such as the design and production of product UI, I spent a lot of time to research, learn how to use software, how to design a reasonable and good-looking style, because I am not proficient in the use of design software such as Photoshop, and it is more difficult to operate, but fortunately, Mr. Cao and Mr. Qin have helped me a lot.

My advisors are Mr. Qin and Mr. Cao, who are very experienced and responsible, and have given me very detailed help, such as focusing on improving my technical and professional ability to make a portfolio, and also paying close attention to my completion progress. After completing the initial draft, they also patiently helped me revise and optimize.
I first came across ZeroTron on social media, and after going to the campus for offline consultation, I felt that ZeroCreate's teaching method and application planning were very suitable for me, and the teachers were also very professional, and there were many successful teaching cases, which made me feel that ZeroForge was more reliable.
