Before Li, the aborigines called the "first two", from Suhu Tuo in the west, to Xu Village in the east, after Li in the north, and Houdong in the south, it was originally an administrative village under the jurisdiction of Bishan Town, and then it was changed to Luopu Street Office, the name is not false because of the surname, but the source is two sayings.

In ancient times, this land was ploughed by the Qianhe River, and the rainwater acted to form countless ravines, from east to west, from south to north, criss-crossing and streaming. The past is more than a thousand years, and there are 8 ditches that can be called famous after the ravines, such as Liugou, Zhaigou, Dongpo Ditch, Mahuang Ditch, Houjian Ditch, West Ditch, East Ditch, Yahuan Ditch, etc.

It is probably the characteristic of ancient times to live by water, and where there is a water source, it can always attract human beings. The same is true of the ditch. According to legend, the first person to settle here was a person surnamed Li, one in the Ming Dynasty and the other in the Northern Song Dynasty. Back to front.

Former Li Village View

In history, in the early years of Hongwu, the overall situation was settled, the population was uneven, and the development was restricted. Around this time, two brothers surnamed Li from Shanxi moved to Luo, and then came to Beipi and settled in Linxihe. At that time, the elder brother lived in the south and the younger brother lived in the north, echoing each other from afar and multiplying.

A few years later, the two brothers were prosperous under their knees, and they became villages respectively, when the brother was close to Luoyang City, the village was called Qianli, and the younger brother was a little farther away, and the village was called Houli.

Hou Li, commonly known as "Hou Liang", now belongs to Chaoyang Town, Mengjin, and is said to be the resting place of Li Yu, the emperor of ancient words. It is also said that the names of Li Village before and after are all related to Li Yu. Li Yu, young and smart, loves to read, is good at articles, proficient in calligraphy and painting, has all the characteristics of a cultural giant, regrets to get into the wrong line, does not say anything, and finally becomes the king of the country and captured.

Former Li Dikeng Courtyard

In June 961, Li Yu succeeded his father in present-day Nanjing and ascended the throne as emperor, when the Southern Tang Dynasty had already gone through the third generation. Li Yu, who is benevolent and filial by nature, usually likes to write a poem, fill in a word, be the shopkeeper, be the emperor, and govern the country.

During his reign, strong enemies were around, Song was dominant, Li Yu trembled, chose to hug his thighs, looked for a protective umbrella, and always respected Song and was cautious. After the Southern Han Dynasty was destroyed, Li Yu went to the Tang State again, renamed the "Lord of Jiangnan", depreciated himself, took the initiative to show weakness, and sincerely surrendered, in order to survive.

When the covetousness of the Song and Chen armies at the border was clearly revealed, Li Yu woke up like a dream, but he still sent someone to complain to Song Taizu and argue that the Southern Tang Dynasty was innocent. "On the side of the couch, how can you allow others to snore." Taizu's words made Li Yu completely break his thoughts, but he stimulated hemorrhagic nature and ordered resolute resistance.

The war was fought with comprehensive national strength, involving all aspects, and the Houtang Dynasty was not half a star. In December 975, the city of Nanjing was broken, and Li Yu was captured and sent to Kaifeng to wait for Taizu's further fall. Song Taizu looked at Li Yu's pitiful appearance, moved with compassion, and not only forgave his crimes, but also sealed the disobedient marquis. Although the name is insulting, the result is the least bad.

In 976 AD, Taizu died for some reason, and his younger brother Kuang Yi succeeded to the throne, known as Song Taizong in history. When the world was amnestied, Li Yu humiliated and said that he was gone, and he was crowned the prince of Longxi County, and first gave a sweet date. Li Yu didn't care about this, he just drank and wrote poetry. The words of the casualties reminisced about the past, mournful and desolate, far-reaching artistic conception, and reached the peak. Now everyone is familiar with some ancient sentences, mostly from this time.

In 978 AD, Li Yu died, was posthumously named King Wu, returned to the throne before the rank, and was buried in Luoyang Bishan at the age of forty-two.

View of the village after Li

Regarding the cause of Li Yu's death, there have always been two theories. One said that he died of depression. It is said that Li Yu went from the emperor to the prisoner, the gap was too big, his thinking could not turn around, he often felt sorry for himself, was depressed, could not sleep at night, and became anxious and became ill, which led to his death.

Another said that he was killed by Taizong. According to legend, Li Yu's stepwife Xiao Zhou has the appearance of the country, Taizong is extremely greedy, and has always been unpleasant to Li Yu, and heard that Li Yu borrowed words to lyrical, homesick for the country, and had antipathy, and finally killed the killer. Taizong is a ruthless person, his brother can do it, let alone Li Yu?

After Li Yu was buried, the people of Li were convinced. Legend has it that the "old grave" in the north of Li Village is the tomb of Li Yu. Later, an insider broke the news that during the Republic of China, someone in the village dug up an epitaph from the "old grave" and sold it to the people of Luoyang, and uploaded the tomb owner as "King Wu".

Netizens erected the Li Yu monument in the "old grave" of Houli Village

Li Yu was named "King Wu" twice, which is a historical fact. Li Yu's epitaph, made by his old subordinate Xu Xuan on the order of Song Taizong, is called "The Great Song Dynasty Right Qianniuwei General Posthumously Sealed Wu Wang Longxi Cemetery Epitaph and Preface". Some time ago, some netizens crowdfunded for Li Yu and erected a monument in the "Old Graveyard", which attracted a lot of applause. At that time, there was also a monument in Houli and Wang Zhilian, a poet of the Tang Dynasty.

The "old grave" is the tomb of Li Yu, which has not yet been officially recognized, and there are still quite a few complaints among the people. Legend has it that after Li Yu was buried, the Li clan who was taken captive together stayed in the local tomb to guard the tomb, multiplied over the years, and formed a village. Many years later, the Houli people doubled, moved to the south, and formed a village, named Qianli.

can support this, as well as the legend of Zhouzhai. Zhouzhai also belongs to Chaoyang Town. Legend has it that Li Yu had a deep relationship with Xiao Zhouhou and his wife before his death, and after his death, Xiao Zhouhou was in pain and strongly requested to wake the spirit. Song Taizong was forced to be helpless, and allowed him to set up a village three or four miles northwest of the village. Xiao Zhouhou took his place in the company of his clansmen, washed his face with tears all day long, did not eat or drink, and died of worry in three days, and was buried with Li Yu. After the sacrifice of the village, the village was also formed, and it was named Zhouzhai, which has been followed to this day.
